Dramatic innovation and many lessons have been learned through the development of AIR1 and AIR2. Balance is likely the most critical factor for all-day wearable comfort. With medical, pharmaceutical, and industrial being the principal marketplaces for AIR3, it is essential for the user to feel natural and unencumbered. AIR3, unlike other similar products, has a very neutral center of gravity, organically improving the user experience while wearing.
Wearing a mask in industrial, medical, or pharmaceutical environments, the fans and the noise they make highlight another area where MicroClimate continues to shine. When AIR2 was introduced, it included a patented fan suspension system that effectively isolated the growl that would otherwise be transmitted from the mask frame to the user. With AIR3, this suspension system is even more robust and durable.
AIR3 provides a comprehensive, clear vision path, full periphery, and impact protection.
MicroClimate has also sought to keep the process of donning AIR3 simple. As with AIR1 and AIR2, keeping our mask free of external hoses or belt packs provides the user with a simple and quick way to protect themselves with AIR3 appropriately. The built-in battery pack requires only a standard USB-C cable to charge.
This simple design also enables AIR3 to be stationed effectively around the workspace. A simple wall hanger provides clean and convenient access to your AIR3 when and where you need it.
From a value perspective, companies can purchase two or three AIR3 masks compared to buying only one of the comparable offerings. This will enable companies to purchase enough AIR3s to outfit employees individually instead of sharing masks. It will also make it more affordable to stage PPE close to the PPE-required work areas. PPE does not do anyone any good if they are not wearing it.
